TVE Livestock Freezer Sale Rules

Danelle Mullins, Livestock Sales Chairman

Deadline to sign up for or removal from Freezer Sale--6:00 p.m. Thursday of show week
Freezer Sale-10:00 a.m., Saturday of show week

The primary purpose of the Livestock Freezer Sale is to facilitate the sale of those exhibitors whose market animal projects are not in the Youth Auction. These exhibitors invested time and effort in producing these projects. In the past there has not been a structured way to sell the animals that did not qualify for the Youth Auction. This has caused hardship on the exhibitor, parents, TVE Livestock Committees and TVE buyers. The Livestock Freezer Sale is not meant to distract from the Youth Auction, but should give buyers an opportunity to purchase quality animals for their freezers and support the youth of Liberty and Chambers Counties.

RULES FOR THE TVE LIVESTOCK FREEZER SALE

  1. Each exhibitor can sell a maximum of two (2) items in any combination of either the Youth Auction and/or the Livestock Freezer Sale.
