2010 TVE Rodeo Pageant
October 16th, 1:00PM
- All contestants must be of age 3-13 years old on or before the date of the pageant: October 16th, 2010.
- Proof of age is required, a copy of birth certificate must accompany entry form and entry fee.
- Each contestant must reside in one of the following counties: Liberty, Chambers, Jefferson, Hardin, Polk, San Jacinto, Montgomery or Harris County.
- Entry fee is $30 per contestant.
- Western wear is required to be worn by each contestant. Small props may be used. No sharp objects, water or fire producing props.
- Each contestant will be judged on personality, stage presence, conversational skills and overall appearance. All scores will become property of the Trinity Valley Exposition. No scores will be made public.
- Only one parent/guardian may accompany child on stage should they require assistance.
- There will be no refund of any entry fees once they have been accepted. If contestant fails to show up or chooses not to compete once pageant begins, they will still receive a participation award but no entry fees will be returned.
- Each contestant who participates will receive a participation award.
- The winner of each age group will receive a buckle, sash and TVE Carnival Fun Pass.
- The contestant who places runner up in each age group will receive a trophy, sash and assorted prizes.
- The winners of the photogenic contest of each age group will receive a trophy and sash.
- The winner of each age group must ride in the Rodeo Grand Entry on Saturday night October 23rd, 2010 in western wear, buckle and sash. The overall photogenic winners are not required to ride in the Grand Entry, but are certainly welcome if they so desire. A vehicle will be provided or winner may ride their own horse. The place and time to meet prior to the Grand Entry will be given to the parents the week after pageant.
- TVE will provide a float for the opening day parade held on Wednesday. All winners are encouraged to attend. All winners are welcome to enter the local parades throughout the 2010/2011 year using their title won.
- No entries will be accepted after the October 9th, 2010 deadline.
- All decisions by Judges and Pageant Chairmen are firm and final.
- Please check in one hour prior to event to allow time for photographs to be taken and printed on premises. Late contestants will be disqualified unless Pageant Chairman gives approval to allow continuation of competition upon arrival.
