The TVE Livestock Board is excited about our 2nd year TVE Livestock Ambassador Program.
The Program strives to provide 7th to 12th grade livestock exhibitors the opportunity to develop and practice advanced leadership skills related to mentoring other youth, and to become advocates for livestock, agriculture, and TVE.
Activities
1.Visit top buyers and thank them in person with a thank you gift.
2.Attend Chambers of Commerce or other organizations to educate community members on the benefits of TVE and to attend the auction.
3.Assist Livestock committee with stall awards
4.Attend a leadership workshop put on by the Livestock Board members.
5.Aid in making Social media post/video to increase awareness of TVE.
Application process
1.There will be 7 to 10 positions each year.
2.Must fill out an application.
3.Take a knowledge test over TVE history and livestock.
4.In person interview (mandatory) No reschedules!
Application is due in February 29, 2024
