2026 BE A CHAMPION LIVESTOCK SHOW
Be a Champion — Everyone Has a Champion Within
The 2026 Trinity Valley Exposition is excited to introduce the Be a Champion Livestock Show, a new program designed to give students with special needs the opportunity to experience the excitement and accomplishment of participating in a livestock show.
This is the first year of the Be a Champion Livestock Show, and we are thrilled to create an experience where every participant has the opportunity to be their own champion.
The Be a Champion program will pair eligible students from Liberty and Chambers Counties with a livestock-showing “buddy.” Participants will have the opportunity to show a livestock project at the Champion Drive Livestock Show on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Show time will be announced later.
Programming Purpose
The purpose of the Be a Champion Livestock Show is to provide students with special needs in Liberty and Chambers Counties with the opportunity to participate firsthand in a livestock show experience.
The program is intended for students with special needs who are not currently raising a livestock project for the Trinity Valley Exposition.
Livestock Projects
Participants may show a:
Animals will be matched with participants based on the physical, emotional, and individual needs of each exhibitor.
Be a Champion Buddies
Each Be a Champion exhibitor will be paired with a “buddy” exhibitor who will assist them during the livestock show.
Buddies will be current 4-H or FFA members and should be from the same 4-H club or FFA chapter as the Be a Champion exhibitor whenever possible.
If the exhibitor's organization is unable to provide a buddy, show staff will assign a buddy.
Every Participant Is a Champion!
Every Be a Champion participant will receive:
- An Exhibitor Award
- A Be a Champion exhibitor shirt
- The opportunity to experience the excitement and pride of participating in a livestock show
We are excited to provide an opportunity for students who may have never imagined that they could participate in a livestock show to step into the show ring and Be a Champion!
